Just wanted to give a big ol' shout-out to all who have finished (or nearly finished, at least?) their exams for the semester. I particularly wanted to congratulate first-year students, who, by my reckoning, have now finished their first year of university!

This is a pretty big thing, if you think about it. Whether you went to uni straight from high school or did something else in between, uni is often a big adjustment. It certainly was for me - I struggled a lot, and was very thankful to get to the end of first year haha. If you've made it this far, that's an achievement in and of itself, and you should be proud!

What are y'all planning to do with the what feels like 800 months you have off? 8)

honestly it doesn't even feel like that long tbh :o
I'm gonna be working over the summer most likely
If I have time, I'll head home
I'm also most likely doing a summer course...

other than that, probably just reading and just nerding out by discovering new things :)

Ahhh I honestly can't believe that this day has come! The day I've been waiting for...for 13 years!!

The moment the supervisor said that writing time stopped for the Eng Lang exam today, I could just see around the room so many beaming smiles!
At the end, people were screaming and hugging each other (including myself!) and we were all celebrating three months of no study without guilt.

With three friends, I went to Macca's and we met up with other Eng Lang students who finished their exams today. It was a BLAST eating unhealthy food (also had a small latte hehe) with some of my closest friends then playing in the Macca's playground like kids when the small children left (learned today that I was a tad bit claustrophobic....)
When I came home, the first thing I did was eat chocolate and watch a video on Youtube, which I had been banned from ever since September.

Super excited for the period of pure freedom then uni!!! ;D

Yeah, seconding strawbs - thanks to AN for helping me through my first year of uni :) It was a hard year and I couldn't have done it without you guys. Glad it's over, and hopefully next year will be easier.

Catch up with all my friends who I haven't seen much of this year, work, and just de-stress. Will also be spending time on AN, naturally!

It was definitely a lot more bearable knowing that I wasn't the only 1st year uni student struggling with things like transition to uni from high school, mountains of work and of course Procrastination =P.

Enjoy my overseas trip.
Lurking on AN and helping users out.
Learning coding & programming as well. Won't happen but one can dream
Catching up with friends. if they remember to invite me :/. But then they wouldn't be my friends because friends remember to invite each other to events........

1 divided by 800. It's a real shame that RuiAce is getting less than a day of holidays .
