Paramed to Med? Advice wanted!

Hey guys just looking for some advice and opinions here.

I am currently completing the B.Sc at unimelb, with the end goal of doing post grad med. I have been contemplating lately whether it would be a good idea to transfer to a Bachelor of Paramedicine and complete this as my undergrad degree with the aim of getting into med after this or maybe working first as a paramedic for a while as this does interest me too. I have been thinking about this change for a couple of reasons, them being, It would allow me to get more hands on rather then just constant theory like in the bach of science. It would allow me to do things that I find a greater interest in, like learning how to manage medical conditions and seeing patents ect. I think I would also be able to achieve higher scores in this degree and thus perhaps be more competitive in getting into medicine in he future.

Let me know your opinions and experiences. Thanks!

Also I do know this rules out both monash and melb med, however I don't see this as to much of an issue as deakin is still available and I would definitely be open to moving interstate.
Don't worry about scores that you can't change  because there are so many more productive things you could do
