Year 11's only recieve their raw study score??

Hey so I downloaded the vce results app and while I was reading the faq part of it there was this statement:

"If I am in Year 11, how will I find out my VTAC scaled study scores?
VTAC scaled study scores are only available from the VCE Results and ATAR service when you qualify for an ATAR. If you are a Year 11 student who has completed a Unit 3 and 4 subject, you will receive only your raw study score from the VCAA. VTAC will only make scaled study scores available once you qualify for an ATAR."

Does this mean we only recieve our raw study score? I'm pretty sure I asked the year 12s this year about their scaled scores for last year and I don't remember hearing anything about vtac scaled scores... Or are vtac scaled scores something different

Yeah, when you receive your study score for the 3/4 you've done in year 11 you only get the raw score. You'll see the scaled score next year, when you get your ATAR (though it is scaled against the year you did the subject in, not the year you get your ATAR).

If you're curious about what your score might scale to, just ask year 12s who have done the same subject about how much their score was scaled

Oh, thanks! I never knew and always thought you see your scaled mark as well as your raw. So does this mean vtac is in charge of the whole scaling process and not vcaa?

You can also check the VTAC scaling report which is released each year on ATAR day.
