This file has all the relevant statistics you should need, you'll have to input the data yourself though

As for memorizing, I would try remembering the "latest" figure and the trend of it.
Eg: Interest rates, l would remember the latest figure, what the trend is and the earliest figure as well.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

Basically these statistics are not always essential but highly recommended (when relevant) to demonstrate depth of knowledge to any assessor. The current study design states that you are required to know the monetary and budgetary stance of the Australian Government for the past two years (eg. for you it will be 2017-18). Therefore its very important you're familiar with trends from past years and keep yourself updated with exact values from 2018.
An excellent source of raw statistics is https://tradingeconomics.com/
Regarding budget initiatives, ABC provide an excellent review for this years budget: http://www.abc.net.au/news/story-streams/federal-budget-2017/2017-05-09/federal-budget-2017-winners-losers/8505738

Familiarise yourself with these gradually and they will become ingrained quickly!!
