So I got the ATAR I needed for my course, but I only got a 24 in lit when I needed a 25, what are my chances of getting into the course?

Here are some previous replies that I think are relevant to you  :)
Prerequisites are non negotiable. You must satisfy them in some way in order to even be considered for the course.

"In some way" meaning either via VCE score or an equivalent (e.g. bridging program, alternative unit approved by the university etc).

I read somewhere that VCE study score prereqs are set in stone ; so personally I wouldn't apply for the course. However, you could always try alternative pathways which can net you the equivalent of that prereq. I think for Melbourne uni (when I was researching about it bc i was freaking out that I wouldn't get the 25 in meth), there's like a maths unit you can do to fulfil that prereq, so maybe there's something like that for your Uni ?

From what I have seen on Vce discussion space you don't know if your SEAS has been accepted unless you're sent an email; so for me there was a Monash guarantee and access melbourne acceptance email so check your email !

For the ATAR thing, I'm not too entirely sure but I've always been told to list my preferences in order of what I want the most; some people lower than clearly in ATAR tend to get in because of their personal circumstances. With some of the Monash courses I've looked at; a percentage of people got in below the clearly in, so base your preferences on what you want.
