Maths Methods Tutoring

Hi All

Actually posting for a friend who graduated from MHS in 2017 and achieved a 47 raw score in Maths Methods. He is looking to take up to 5 students and is offering private tutoring for $30/hr in 2018. He is willing to tutor at Monash Library in either Caulfield or Clayton Campus. He would prefer to remain anonymous except to contact potential students, so PM me and I'll hook you up.

My experiences with him
Having known him for the duration of this year, I can attest to the fact that this man has an unbelievably in depth knowledge of every aspect of the course. He has devoted most of his lunch times and breaks to assisting peers and moreover, compels his students to work diligently regardless of ability or work ethic. Under this tuition I am convinced that any student can excel as he will ensure that no time is wasted and having dealt primarily with students who struggled with lack of knowledge, will know exactly how to lift your scores as he lifted mine. I was a straggler receiving E's on my report in semester 1 of 2017, but with his help my scores improved to exceed the median SAC marks of MHS and eventually received a 34 raw SS in methods. Don't be deterred by a study score below 50, because the tutor I've advertised here is a man who will provide intensive and thorough tuition and above all values steady yet rapid improvement in all his students. Don't deprive yourself of this opportunity, sign up now!

With all due respect I think this is extremely unprofessional.

There's a lot of secrecy in this advertisement and if they were genuinely serious about tutoring rather than making a quick buck, they would post here themselves rather than getting somebody else to do it for them.

Just my thoughts on this. Good luck to your friend with their tutoring efforts.

Thank you for being respectful about this. I assure you he's genuinely interested in tutoring, but has already received multiple responses on facebook and through friends that amounted to nothing where students either didnt show up or failed to make contact after the first instance. I was actually the one who suggested this means of advertisement as he's had little luck in other avenues and although I realise how it may come across, this is definitely a serious offer.
