Welcome to the forums Caitlyn!

It's a bit of a trade off for you here I think. Normally I'd say to anyone seriously hating on a subject that they should drop it - And certainly the extra hours of study are always nice! However, keeping 2U will make your life considerably easier in your first year of university, assuming you stick with a Science/Medical degree as you plan.
I think the key will be, have you hated Maths all along or have you only started hating it since your assessment result? If it is the latter, I think you just need to try and move forward, take steps to improve - I've
no doubt that you can get yourself well above a pass mark in your next task if you are able to put the time in. It can be easy to let a less-than-ideal mark kill your confidence, instead try and use it as a motivator to improve and work as hard as you can!
If you've hated Maths all along though, maybe you should drop. Certainly it will ease your stress and let you focus your efforts elsewhere.
I don't think there's a right wrong. If you do drop you can always do a bridging course to catch up for uni, and if you keep I'm sure your marks will improve. Do what you think is right - And keep your chin up!
