Hi! I'm trying to enroll for elective/breadth subjects for university as an upcoming first year student, and was wondering if there were any useful electives that you guys think are useful to study?

I know a lot of people advocate electives that align with your interests and whatnot but I was thinking why not also study something that may be essential and applicable to any career, etc? For example, I studied economics in VCE and though it wasn't exactly an enjoyable subject it was undeniably a subject that made me aware of how things work in the real world.

Thoughts?

Personally I reckon a language is a great bet. Great fun but also really useful too :)
