What's the difference between unit 3 & 4?

According to the study design, unit 3 & 4 aren't much different, comprising of elements of all AoS's. Is this true? It seems relatively easily possible to complete the entire book and a few practice exams before term 3, but I'm wondering if this isn't a good strategy since it'll fill my head with too much unnecessary knowledge for the unit 3 exam.

Most people won't even know the distinction between untis 3/4 and it really doesn't matter - especially since methods grad distributions go:
GA1: Units 3+4
GA2: Exam 1
GA3: Exam 2

I'm pretty sure more knowledge will do a lot more good rather than bad as long as you are continually revising what you've learnt.

There isn’t a units 3 exam so all the information you learn is necessary not unnecessary
