A thank system where you can thank someone and it tallies up (like the karma system).
You can thank someone if they contributed something beneficial and useful to yourself and other members of this community.

maybe he wants you to rename karma to "thanks" :P

Due to the fact that the karma system allows you to explain why you applied karma to a particular person, it's basically a "thanks" system anyway.
