Hello

You know when a Uni course says,

"Prerequisite Further Maths" for example, with no set SS.

What does that mean? SO I can get a SS of 2, and still be able to do that course just coz I did Further?

Also, can you FAIL further, if you get below 40% in exam? What defines failing? e.g. SACS= less than 40%

Can a UG appear on GA 2 and 3 for further? that is exam 1 and 2

ty

Oh, and pretend u get a UG for GA1 but an E for GA2, is that a pass?

Sorry if i confuse any1

You fail your subjects by not completing any SACS at all.

I'd assume that if there were no set study score, the only thing you really need to do is to pass that subject.

Thanks Glockmeister,, that answered most of my questions.

But with maths exam is worth 66%, so what happens in this scenario? Do you need to get above 40% for each of the 2 exams?

I'd double check with the institution to make sure you don't need a minimum of 25 or something...

You pass a subject by achieving an 'S' for each of the outcomes which gives you an 'S' for the Unit. Usually, the S is obtained from your SAC performance, but it can be achieved through other class work and home work tasks.

Prerequisites require you to pass the 3/4 sequence.

The exams have absolutely no bearing on whether or not you pass a subject as the S or N is sent into VASS before your exams. The exams only contribute to the calculation of your study score.
