Who's the most famous person you've met?

When I was on exchange, I met Julie Bishop and Governor-General Peter Cosgrove. They were both very pleasant; Bishop was quite funny!

How about you? Have you met a famous sport star? Actress or actor? Politician? This is the place for #subtlenamedrops. ;D

She’s mostly known for playing Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series :)

Does infamous count? Because I participated in the nutbush with someone from the Father's Day Massacre at a wedding

The most famous person I've met was Kevin Rudd. Second most-famous Jacqui Lambie :)

I met her back in June 2015 at a Comic Con-esque event in Sydney. She's nice but a little bit quiet. Kinda like her on screen character ;)

Other than having the impersonator (been on the Morning Show on channel 7 recently, actually) Ben Price as a family friend, I've also met Natalie Bassingthwaighte of Neighbours fame, and Craig Lowndes of V8 supercars fame! :) (when I was little haha!)

I've met Dami Im twice (she represented Australia in Eurovision at some point)- once when there was a signing event at my local Westfields and the second time at her concert when she had a signing event after the concert. It's kinda funny whenever I meet her, I would speak to her in my limited Korean and she would be like "Oh, are you Korean?"

Apart from that, does meeting Bruce Dennett count lol- not really a famous person but more like the guy who wrote the old Modern History syllabus. He's a pretty cool guy so it was surprising to meet him!

David Villa, all-time top goalscorer for the Spanish national football team and probably one of the most underrated players at top level. In real life he's similar to how he is with the media, shy and humble, he also spoke very little English at the time (he speaks more now since he's been living in the US for a few years).

gillard spoke at my school in front of all the kids for no real reason. it was a super funny day because a vice principal fell off the stage and a kid started crying because he sat in the front row and wanted julia gillards signature and our english teacher said "but ms gillard has to sit there" so he started crying and ran to the back of the auditorium. Gillard then did the usual meet and greet shit and yea it was lit
