Discovery + Module C related text?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what are your opinions on using either Invictus by William Ernest Henley (poem) or Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran (song) for discovery. I am hoping to just have one related that will be a good fit for both Discovery and Mod C (representing people and landscape) but I can't seem to find much. Any recommendations for module C? I'm hoping for just a poem. My prescribed texts are Robert Frost poems for discovery and the Art of Travel for Mod C.

Hi! Welcome to ATAR Notes! I'm using The Important Places, a short film, and it works really well for both Discovery and Mod C (people and landscapes). I'm doing the Tempest and Judith Wright's poetry though, but I'm sure it'll work well with your texts just the same.

Hey! Love the suggestion above, my thoughts would be that Castle on the Hill probably doesn’t have the techniques and depth that a related should have. It just isn’t long enough, and doesn’t have the specific techniques you can point to in the text. If you’ve come up with some solid analysis, amazing! But make sure you can do that - I have heard great things about Invictus
