What are the opportunities associated with the scholar's program? Would it provide any advantage over others in the work force, in terms of getting a job> The only thing that I'm aware of is the scholarship associated with the course, and that you could potentially finish the course earlier if you overload.

I'm trying to gauge if I should have it higher on my list of preferences than a biomed double degree with commerce, which I'm only considering due to its job security (something about how employment rate of the people who've done science courses being around 60% vs commerce's 75%).

I believe preferencing the biomed scholars program allows you to receive a scholarship if you get in and have a high enough ATAR.

Not sure what other advantages it has, but it probably allows you to get more involved in research through networking, which is helpful.
