Methods has always been my worst subject. Last year in 1/2 I hardly did any work (mostly due to having an ass of a teacher who was one of those ones who is too smart to actually teach anything) and because of that, I was really dreading 3/4. However, I managed to scrape an 86, 76 and 80 on my three SACs for the year, which was pretty unexpected since I really didn't increase my workload at all from 1/2. This made me pretty fearful that our SACs were way too easy and gave me unrealistic expectations as to how easy the exam would be. We did a formal practice exam last week, and I flunked it so bad, getting a quality 31%, which has definitely made me wake up and realise that i somehow need to cram a year's worth of work into a monthish.
Does anyone have any tips for what I should do/focus on? How do you even revise for a maths exam?? All I do for further, my favourite subject, is practice exams because they're fun and easy, but i can't even do methods exams because they're way too hard and I need help on nearly every single question
Do i just bulk watch Edrolo? Get a tutor? Struggle through practice exams? Go back to my textbook questions? I'm definitely thinking of finding some time to catch up with my teacher when school goes back, too, as she's super helpful and great.
My goal in methods is to get a 35, and whilst it may not seem like it, maths (both methods and further) is most definitely my favourite subject, and has been for all of school like ever, so I'm definitely motivated to work towards my goal, I just need some tips on where to start!
Thanks multitudes in advance my dears
