would I get 1 mark for the last finance question if I showed working out and calculated the total interest over 2 years?

no, in the finance solver vcaa show us that they use "1827.3205..."
The finance solver below 4ai. Is what they used to work out the payment.

In the working out for 4aii. They’ve done 1827.32X240=....

And then in 4b in the finance solver they’ve entered the payment as -1827.32

Check question 4ai and 4aii in business module
https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/mathematics/2010furmath2-w.pdf

proof that you not meant to round it:
https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/mathematics/further2_assessrep_10.pdf

previous answer asked for nearest cent

next question ask for total interest but in the finance solver the payments are not rounded to nearest cent but full
Wait what? The answer for 4ai is 1827.32 and the calculator gives the answer 1827.3205... in 4aii they seem to be using the rounded 1827.32 from 4ai meaning they’ve used the rounded value from the previous question and not the value of 1827.3205 from the calculator

hm, maybe a bad example. They round it to nearest dollar for this sort of question so it wouldn't much matter

I been doing geo 24/7 and it always had been not using the rounded answer previously (e,g, length of A to B and rounded to nearest metre), which you need to use that length A to B to find another length or degree or area for next question.

I personally used the rounded answer because it was ii of the question. Generally speaking, questions that have i and ii are somewhat reliant on each other. I thought they wouldn’t make us found the payment value again as we have already found it in the i part of the question. Anyway some people are saying both .88 and .89 will be accepted so whatever lol (as long as I get the mark)

so that exam was garbage
my chances of 40 are very slim but is there a chance of getting it if
i averaged 80 in Sacs ( decent cohort and very hard SACs compared to other schools i've seen)
90% in exam 1
low - mid 80's in exam 2

Was wondering if I could get a study score prediction for these results.

Rank 4 in extremely competitive cohort (sacs should scale to full)
Exam 1 - 39/40
Exam 2 - 58/60

Thanks very much
