do you still receive consequential mark if it was just the rounding of the $2800?
Yeah should be 1 out of 2 if you showed working. No working its a 0 unfortunately.

Large and small are ordinal.

Could you give a reason as to why?

This is wrong, you are not suppose to round it. That find payment question simply wants you to give the answer rounded. But it never specify to use the payment previously for the interest question

Similar question happened in previously vcaa exams, you are not suppose to round before giving the answer.
You should only round when you are using your previous answer for payments which is what was done.

It didn't specify "Using the answer in part i, etc). Although they are (i) and (ii), its just a continuation of the same scenario, however it never states to use a previous answer

Check question 4ai and 4aii in business module
https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/mathematics/2010furmath2-w.pdf

proof that you not meant to round it:
https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/mathematics/further2_assessrep_10.pdf

previous answer asked for nearest cent

next question ask for total interest but in the finance solver the payments are not rounded to nearest cent but full

This often happens with further exams due to ambiguity in financial section (heard from an examiner). No point stressing whether it is .88 or .89, very likely they will accept both.

No it doesn’t? I assume you mean the payment of 1827.32? Every calculation after that just uses it to two decimal places as calculated.

no, in the finance solver vcaa show us that they use "1827.3205..." for a question after the payment being rounded which was required in the previous question.
