Every year people say that their exams are harder than previous years cause they do it under stressful exam conditions. It would be great if someone who didn't do methods this year gave their opinion on this years exam difficulty.
Yeah I realised that as I was doing trials they always seemed easier, the stress gets to ya. However, my methods teacher (Head of Mathematics) and assessor for a really long time also said that it was hard in comparison to previous years.

1 mark is alot when you have very likely messed up alot more AND missed a few questions *cough cough* that graph at the end.

I’m honestly feeling so bad about that exam, I thought question 9 was pretty good and I did that first in 15 minutes ish so I was feeling good, but threw it all away on question 8. I didn’t manage to get the answer to the last part of the question and didn’t have time to check the rest of my paper. I made a silly mistake at the start of PO by saying that x^2 + 4x^2 was 6x^2, which obviously means I got part a and b wrong. Do you think I’ll get consequential/working marks?, or will I lose 5 marks because of simple errors.
I feel so bad about this paper, I let the stress get to me and did so much worse than all my practices.

LMAO that last page was a joke. As if I would spend that long on a question worth two marks.

what would a 32 be?
A (likely) or very high B+ (less likely)

Would leaving the answer to Question 2 as "...loge(2x-2) - loge(2)...", and Question 8d as loge(4)/2 cause me to lose marks?

yes a good assesor would remove marks since your answers must be in the simplest forms.

That's a good point- exam strategy is sometimes about maximising the marks you can get and skipping stuff if you have to. Good lesson for us as we head into exam 2... :'(
