Hey guys,
I’m in Year 10 this year and I’m choosing subjects for next year and I’m struggling between either biology or busman, what do you guys think?

My subjects now are:
• English
• Methods
• Chemistry
• Psych
• Chinese 3/4

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

Bio fits in best with your other subjects - was there something in particular drawing you to bus man?

What are you interested in doing? Don't worry about what other people think, as responses are usually biased towards their own experiences. If one person likes Business and says 'do business', that isn't to say you're going to like it too.

I sound like a bloody broken record on here but it's true - this should be a discussion with people who know you and your interests (e.g. family, friends, careers counsellor, teacher). Throwing subjects together as part of your VCE based on the opinions of complete strangers is not the right way to approach this (sure it's one source of opinion for your consideration, but please don't let it be the only one).

Some guiding questions:
* Have you done any of these areas as electives in Year 9 or 10? What were your thoughts on them?
* Do you have any idea whatsoever as to your pathway once you finish Year 12?
* Looking at these two choices, what one interests you more (don't consider scaling or other people's opinions when thinking about this).
