Hi,
So after accepting a much lower than expected atar I’ve been constantly checking guides and clearly ins and for Melbourne unis clearly in or minimum atar  for science which has been 85 for the past few years. Is it likely that it’ll fluctuate greatly eg go to 92 or even 90? As it was 92 I think 6 or 7 years ago. Anyhow, I came across this website and it had a list of the atars and the courses and it said that to get into science you’d need a 92? (http://www.universityrankings.com.au/atar-entry-scores.html) would anyone be able to confirm that it isn’t accurate as I’m scared that I might not be able to get in as I got an atar that was lower than 92 but higher than 85
Thanks!

the business commerce one is 100% incorrect. I physically attended the 16 dec or whatever it was information day and the clearly in atar last year was 93.05 I think? Definitely was not 92.35

personally, I think you'll be okay. I don't think that the threshold would jump that much, or even jump at all from the 86.00 atar. obviously, this is subject to change in accordance to demand but if you got high 80s or low 90s, don't freak out that much over it.

You'll be fine. I remember that when I was applying through VTAC back in 2014, all of UoM's course clearly-in stats were really high (talking 90+ ATARs) for the previous cohort (mostly VCE Class of 2013). However, it's since dropped to 85 and been pretty consistent since approx. a couple of years ago. My speculation is that they added a bunch of new spots for various reasons. Doubt this has changed much recently.

Either way, your chances are still pretty good. Good luck on Wednesday (Round 1 offers).
