SAT Survey Completion Thread 2019
Welcome to the SAT Survey Completion Thread for 2019. As you may be aware, students in Informatics are required to complete a SAT as part of their assessment for Units 3 and 4. Part of this requires the collection of data via a survey on a chosen topic, and this is where this thread comes into play!
If you're a student completing Informatics this year and want people to complete your survey, feel free to post your link below via a reply. It should be noted that this thread is the only one you should be using to post links in for SAT surveys. If somebody posts a link elsewhere, feel free to remind them of this thread's existence.
Rules regarding posting:- Your link/survey must originate from a
reputable source. That means surveys from SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, Microsoft Forms etc.
-
Do not shorten your survey links as this can often conceal the destination address.
- If you offer an incentive for participation (e.g. a prize), you
must in your reply outline how you will choose the winner for this incentive, when the incentive will be issued and how you'll contact the winners.
- You may only post your survey link
once.
-
Please only post SAT links here. Conversation/discussion should be directed to the appropriate thread.Reminders about survey structures:It is important to note that your surveys comply with relevant legislation (e.g. Privacy). Ensure that you are ethically handling other users' data that they submit via your forms. Majority of users on ATAR Notes are in the upper secondary age bracket (e.g. 16-18), however there are users outside of these age brackets. Please ensure that multiple choice options
cater for all possibilities rather than isolating yourself to a few. If you do isolate the options available, this may produce inaccurate results or may just result in the willing participant to close the window and not return.
To other users on ATAR Notes:If a link is posted here,
please consider taking the time to contribute to the sample size. The more results the better, and I'm sure if you were in this position, you'd want the same thing from other users! Maybe giving the link a +1 when you've done it is a good indicator, but it's up to you!
Thanks so much - and best of luck for Informatics in 2019. Any questions can be directed to me via PM on here.
