Biomedicine textbooks worth it?

Hey anyone who's done first year biomed at UoM, are the textbooks worth buying? I don't really want to pay $100+ for books if I won't end up using them. Are lecture notes enough?

Short answer: no
Long answer: noooo
2013-15: BBiomed (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), UniMelb
