How is everyone feeling?

ahh i need to get an A+, got A's on Sacs and A on mid year, I don't know what study score thats heading to be but I should have worked harder

I seem to be one of the few at my school who isn't going, 'OMG I AM SO FAILING THIS EXAM.'  

It's pretty awesome because in the past week I've decided I really like this unit so I'm way more motivated to get information. Which is why I've been reading heaps of different notes (from class notes to different textbooks (including a uni one which I unearthed from my bookshelf)) and watching heaps of animations/slideshows and listening to podcasts.

Except there's only a few days left and I have 8723479234 pages of stuff to read plus practice exams.

Really, I prefer Unit 3, I find this unit very repeditive so I'm the opposite I have no motivation

deff not a fan of genetics, way too repetitive and rote learning based
evolution is different though, few grey areas but a bit more interesting. overall though preferred unit 3
However im still staying motivated, with the idea in mind that if i get 40+ for my two 3/4's this year i will have a huge load off next year
So yeah i been doing plenty of prac exams, about 15 i think. and from now on i plan to do 2007 and 2008 VCAA, and just write notes

Feeling a lot of stress right now! I've only just started doing past exams and done some checkpoints. I really need an A for this exam - at least.

Does doing practise exams help much? for the mid year, I did 2 sets of multiple choice and just wrote notes from nature of biol and got an A, I don't see how practise exams help..?

yeah what andrew said
the more you expose yourself to these exam type questions, the less likely you are to be confronted with something you havent seen before on the exam
this is even more true for unit 4 than unit 3 which i believe is way more repetitive and definition based, and there is only a certain amount of ways vcaa can disguise natural selection questions and other basic process-type questions where you use the same formula for all the questions such as protein synth/meiosis/mitosis/pedigrees/punnet squares

i dont do bio but fady_22 does (he is an yr 11) and is really good at bio, hasnt droped below 95% in sacs, and got A+ midyear, phew!
