quick questions about the exam.

1. does it matter if we use brackets instead of the modulus sign for logarithms? or are there only particular instances when we use them? like only for antidifferentiating maybe?

2. for definite integrals, does it matter where we write the terminals? i.e. to the left or right of the integration sign? coz im used to writing them on the left but my text does them on the right.

For you need to have an absolute value sign with your logarithm, unless you explain why it should be otherwise.

Write the terminals to the right :/

 I've never seen them written to the left and I doubt many examiners will have seen it either.
