Hey guys quick question,
This year I am currently in Year 12 and my subjects are Biology, Chemistry, English, Methods and P.E I am TOTALLY struggling with my Chemistry and I got my SAC's score back and I only get 32%, and also because have terrible new Chemistry teacher. What am I supposed to do? I don't wanna fail Year 12. And is this going to affect my passing Year 12  or my ATAR score???????

Hey - welcome to the forums :)

Don't stress out too much. In terms of "passing" (getting an S for your unit), as long as you pass your make up SACs/make up assessments, you'll get an S for the unit. The initial mark that you get is what gets submitted for your grade (eg: A, B, C, D, etc.) which helps make up your GA1 and GA2 that contribute to your study score, but the S is what really matters in terms of meeting the requirements to get the VCE.

I think my most important piece of advice is to have a chat to your Chemistry teacher and let them know that you're struggling with the subject - they should be able to offer you some help. It's also a great way for you to settle your differences with them and make the rest of the year better! If you really don't feel comfortable talking to your teacher, go have a chat to one of the other Chemistry teachers.

Re: your ATAR, if Chemistry ends up being your lowest scoring subject, it'll be the 5th subject when your marks are aggregated and stuff to work out what your ATAR is. As the 5th subject, it'll only contribute 10% to the aggregate so has a pretty negligible affect on your marks - your top 4 subjects contribute a lot more to your ATAR.

I hope this has made things a bit clearer. I'd recommend that you read this thread which explains the behind the scenes stuff about how scores are calculated and all that if you're still concerned or want to find out more :)
