Question 1

Question 2
a) 390N

Question 4

Question 10
a)

b)
Ferk well I got all those incorrect (missing two answers in one, should at least get one mark for methods, got a negative in question 2 instead of positive 390, no idea what I did wrong with q4 but I know I got it wrong and q10 I just subbed the limits in instead of solving inequalities and q10b I got b=-1/4, a=1, c=1)

By the way for Question 10b my calculator is telling me instead of

They said Hence evaluate the gradient of the curve at the point (1,1), they didn't say Evaluate the gradient of the curve at (1,1) in terms of k

I think you should just lose the answer mark so 2/4 then? Dunno, that is what I am assuming

how many marks was 5c worth, they one where we have to get dy/dx?

if u left it as -7-k, how many marks would you get?

from memory i think it was a 2 mark question

-7 - k, is right, they didnt say find k, so im sure -7 -k is correct aswell

considering they said evaluate the gradient, and not evaluate the gradient in terms of k, it was implied you had to work out k

I'm thinking since it was a 2 mark question, the marking scheme could be 1 mark for correct method (solving for k AND subbing in values of x, y and k into dy/dx) and 1 mark for answer (-6)

therefore all those of us who just left it as -7 -k could get 0 marks for that question :/
i hope not

Wouldn't it be 1 mark for finding the gradient and 1 mark for subbing in k?
