Depends on how well the state did. Judging by the other threads, people found this exam easier than last years, so the A and A+ cutoff might rise, so 28/40 might not get you an A. This is just speculation though.

Just forget about it, exam 2 is worth double this, do your best in that and you should be able to squeeze in a 35.

Good luck!

I friggen hope so man..
last years A+ was a 32 so if this years A+ is a bit higher (35-36ish maybe) then i think a 31 might still be a low A... perhaps..

last year you needed atleast 27/40 to get an A, but since people are raving about the exam being easy this could go up to 30 something.

True true. I spoke to some friends after the exam yesterday and a lot found it more difficult than previous years. I guess it's this site haha.
When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be AWESOME instead. True story.

yeh....true that.
if you think about it, the level of difficulty from this years exam 1 is quite comparable to that of last years. other than the dreaded question 10, the 2008 exam was fairly straight forward. anyone in agreement with this??

let us keep our fingers crossed and pray that VCAA truly do have a heart (especially for the k question!!!).

The rest of you guys probably killed the rest of the exam, a lot of the people bitching about the k question are ones who the only mark they lost was that mark. I need to get marks somewhere other people don't lol
