Engineering - Melbourne or Monash?

Hi guys,
Monash - Double degree engineering (electrical and computer science or mechatronics) and science (mathematics)
Melbourne - Bachelor of science - melb model
where is engineering better monash or melbourne? i have heard mixed comments about both of them and now i am like stuck and cant pick.
HELP!

Depends on what you're after specifically (not just major-wise, but also other factors like convenience, social environment, etc.).

In terms of engineering, I don't have any personal experience, but can advise that you check out some the the subject reviews from the respective unis:
- Monash has their own Engineering faculty (see Engineering subheading in the Monash Subject Reviews thread)
- Melbourne has quite a few engineering-related units in their Science department (see CVEN for civil, ELEN for electrical, ENGR for general engineering I think?, MCEN for mechnical, SWEN for software eng, etc. in the Science sections from the Melbourne Subject Reviews thread)

AFAIK, you could do exchange in Japan at both unis.
