Guys, they send out offers randomly, not alphabetical or anything, as far as I know. Don't panic if you get an email saying you are on the waiting list, there are second and third round offers too. You might also get a PD. Also not the end of the world if you don't get in, there are many opportunities awaiting you in the future regardless if you get in or not!

haven't gotten anything, but i knew that I feel bad for my parents because they think I'm gonna get in

I received a rejection letter and they have also stated that in case if some places are available in the future before 29th of November, they said they will be sending an email with an offer. What does this mean guys...Does anyone have an idea regarding this?

theres always a change that u might get a second round offer,
but it would only be possible if u reject ur offer so its risky

i put in mcrob as my first because my parents thought i could make it
second pref was schs
no third pref
i asked my mum what would happen if i made it into schs and she said, you might not go, because the commute is a little further than mcrob

I got a rejection letter which I have already said.....But the doubt i have is as they mentioned very clearly that

"A small number of applicants may receive a late offer should a place become available at any of the schools included on their original preference list. If your child does receive a late offer, the Selective Entry Unit will notify you by email before 29 November 2019."

Is there anything that they send a rejection directly without the above clause are the people who got rejected completely

And with above clause means that I have a second and 3rd chance and sm in the waiting list?

If things haven’t changed since my time (which was ages ago so it might have changed), the offer that you receive is the highest one you’re eligible for. So if you got an offer from Nossal but MHS was your first preference, then you got rejected from MHS. Also, we were able to accept the offer initial offer and accept any future offers later. So, I personally got an offer from Nossal first then I got a second round offer from MHS. I accepted the Nossal offer and then afterwards accepted the MHS one. It might have changed so check the email before doing anything. Anyway, congratulations if you got an offer for the school you wanted. If you didn’t get an offer or got rejected from your first preference, know that it’s not the end of the world. There are plenty of examples of extraordinary people that didn’t go to these selective schools.
