Polygenic yes.
Plus, height is always polygenic.

N, you won't be the only one LFTM.
They put that graph in bars to confuse you.
When you usually see a bar graph, it's indicating that there are distinct phenotypes and therefore that its discontinuous.
They were just being mean :(

Hey, thought you were going :P

Someone can recall the banding question? Is it meant to be 2 bands or 1 band?

The gel electrophoresis? I'm pretty sure it was 2 bands.

Shh, I can multitask.
I am...
Letting f(x) = x^2 and g(x) = 2x+1 and now I'm writing down the rule for f(g(x)).  Swear.

Normally in maths/physics yes but this case no. Unfortunately. Its so irrelevant to bio in my opinion

2 bands, 1 at 105 and 1 at 60
as i mentioned earlier i thought it was one band cuz it said the affected individual (homozygous recessive)

The gel electrophoresis? I'm pretty sure it was 2 bands.
But do you recall the guy heterozygous on right has 1 allele cut? The homozygous on left was uncut?

it says tan unaffected induivdual...since the one on the left weas affected and homozygous and an  unaffected with no history would be homozygous for the other allele. the one that was cut in the individual ont he right.

But the question asked to do it for a complete new person 'Z' who is unaffected and has no history. The mutant allele was the one that wasn't cut.
