Should I do Specialist Mathematics?

Hey guys,
I am doing reasonably well in Methods Unit 1/2, (Ave 80+) however, my Specialist Maths (Unit 1/2) is lagging behind. This year I have failed the SAC's Sampling distributions and Graphing Techniques(below 45%). Everything else I had a score above 60+. I generally enjoy maths (algebra & calculus) however spesh this year barely had it. However, when it comes to probability like topics, statistics, I just have difficulty getting a grip around it. Should I quit Specialist and just focus on Methods? However quitting Specialist, I don't really know what I would do?

Personally I also struggled in Specialist 1/2 and hated the subject, but in year 12 Spesh is one of my favourite subjects. The main topics in 3/4 are calculus, motion and forces, vectors (but not really vector proofs), trig & complex numbers. Graphing and probability are still relevant and needed in spesh 3/4 though but are not the whole focus and with probability it largely overlaps with methods asides from hypothesis testing.

I'd recommend potentially giving it a shot, as when spesh starts to click for you it becomes very rewarding and in a sense fun. Hope this helps

Unless you have an alternative choice for spesh, I reckon you should just take spesh. I feel like without a replacement, youl'll naturally gravitate towards spesh eventually.
Maybe try to find some other subjects to take instead of spesh. If you cant find any, then just take spesh.
Keep in mind that algebra and calculus are ubiquitous in spesh 34 so i think youll enjoy it.
