Hi, This is just my intro and conclusion. Would love some feedback on what I could add to my conclusion Thanks

“Any text is the absorption and transformation of another.” Julia Kristeva
To what extent is the above statement true in light of your study of Textual Conversations. In your answer make close reference to both Richard III and Looking for Richard.
Whilst the notion that texts are inextricably connected through absorptions and transformations of prior texts is undeniably true in the case of Shakespeare’s didactic play, King Richard III (1592) and Pacino’s ‘docudrama type thing’ Looking for Richard (1996), many texts continue to fade into the literary blackhole. Instead, only through the exploration of enduring values, does a text continue to remain relevant in a contemporary context, and inevitably become reframed and reimagined. Through the lens of Elizabethan Providentialism, Shakespeare didactically examines the consequences of ignoring one’s conscience and the manipulative power of speech. Engaging in a cross-contextual conversation, Pacino masterfully absorbs the key ideas of morality and the power of language explored in Shakespeare’s KRIII and accordingly transforms these universal values to a secular 20th century society.
In conclusion, although not all texts are ‘absorptions and transformations of another’, KRIII’s exploration of conscience and the power of language enables the play to transcend contextual barriers and engage in a textual conversation with LFR.
