I had a nightmare last night that I had done the English Language exam, was reflecting on it, and couldn't remember my essay. In my dream, I'd then realised that I hadn't written an essay...

But hopefully that won't happen in real life.

I thought the exam this year was fairly easy. There were not any hard questions in section 1/2 where you needed a deep, long, complex explanation worth 4-5 marks. I thought the essay topic number 2 was alright, the stimulus material got me in a spin, but the rest of my essay was superb. Overall I felt like I overachieved today.

umm..... I take back what I said about sections 1/2 and the stimulus material!!!! (Everything else stands correct)

I thought sections 1/2 were o.k, although many questions were worth alot of marks, they were not that hard to answer, but I stuffed this section up, lost >5 marks at least!

BUT, the essay topics were very good, the last one (question 13) was the best and I think I wrote a fantastic essay including all stimulus material, 4 pages long! Exactly what I was hoping for!
