Wat i did was k=2/5   k^3 = 4/25
the 1- 4/25  = 21/25
= 84% :-\

I think it was something like 17400, i got it from the point where the lines intersected.

Same here.

What did you get for graphs and relations, for the maximum profit? If you got 17400, would it be possible to suggest an alternative because it's not feasible to have 4.5 and 5.5 plane trips?

when ever given the coefficient of determination and a negative trend line you need to make the square root of the coefficient of determination negative, because the relationship between the 2 is negative.

how was it negative, you just had to square root the co of determination which worked out to be positive

yes, but the graph showed a negative linear assocciation
therefore the r value had to be negative.

I said 4.5x and 5.5y is max profit of 17,400 i then stated this is not plausible as you cannot have .5 trips so i said the 'realistic' max profit was 17,000 and 5 trips of x and 5 trips of y..

Awesome!! I said that too! Do you think we over complicated it or that was what was required?

how was it negative, you just had to square root the co of determination which worked out to be positive
From the graph we can see it is negative gradient
Thats what I told myself too, man man man. is aw it as negative slope, but im like how is it the calc says postiive grrrr.

Honestly, i didn't really care if it was over complicated i wrote like 7 lines lol on what's plausible and what's not, I'm pretty sure it's worth full marks though
