UCAT Calculator

So I've been using Medify and for the QR and DM section, the calculator pops up on the same page. But using the official UCAT question banks, the calculator appears on another page. In the real exam, will the calculator pop up on another page like in their question banks? It seems so counterintuitive and so time-consuming to use the calculator in that way. (Hope that made sense?)
