Thats true, I only ever really used a couple of my uni textbooks last year.

my friends just got her books for around $500 for semester 1 - damn that soo much! For all second year students, did you guys really need ur text books or use them alot? (im trying to be cheap)

yeah i saw the link u posted earlier :), im just wondering if some textbooks are really that important for first year because just in case the site doesn't have the 2nd handbooks im looking for.. Sigh, i dont even know what my textbooks is yet!

but it seems like its only semester 2's books..... where's semester 1's??

Well, it'll b a v. cheap 1st semester 4 me this year.

I've still got Yookoso 1 from last year (same edition), and Economics 5ed + MyEconLab stuff coz I needed it 4 micro last semester.

I've got the 2008 version of the CPA Accounting Handbook, but I'm not gonna bother updating coz it's only recommended anywayz... I figure I can jst read a library copy 4 any sections that r majorly different.

I will, however, use my $50 book voucher to purchase the Macro study guide.
The voucher was a random prize 4 completing an online Monash survey, and I found the Micro version of the study guide 2 b really helpful last semester.

I'm curious tho... there's no txtbook 4 1st year acc+finance... there was when it was jst straight acc, and now they've restructured it 2 include finance but no txtbook... Weird.
Yay 4 being a lab rat! XD
