The exam is probably going to be on of those it's really exciting but it makes you really nervous kind of thing, because we've been waiting so long.

How does everybody feel about this weeks creative writing task at James An. I think it's pretty dumb and cliche. I don't feel so interested in writing it.

I'm still doing it because the actual task could be dumb and cliche

Yeah, that's pretty much my only motivation to write such boring pieces.

The maths test has too many errors this week, it doesn't have enough information sometimes

Yeah, I would also recommend the Spectrum " How to write a persuasive or creative essay in 15 mins."
I would also try to do every single JAC essay even if it is boring. I did the JAC one last week and it was so simple and cliche which made it hard to pick a story that might impress the people who read it. I found the cliche topic to be amazing as it makes you think outside the box

I'm not gonna lie I'm hella nervous, My friends have been preparing for years lol and I only started like at the end of last year and I really wanna get in coz not only is Mghs a great school academically I heard it offers a wide range of other activities as well.

Mate nothing to worry about. I am in Nossal Year 10 and I got in Year 9 with only 6 months prep for the test. I even know a few people who didn't go to any external centres and still got in. All you need is a strong sense of belief and determination and you're good.  :)

I'm on the 15th too! I'm kind of glad they got rid of the writing element.
