How can I know that I'm writing a good comparative essay?

Hi AN!

This is a bit of a strange question, but How do I know if I'm writing a good essay? (namely comparative?)

I'm really struggling. I feel like I have so much more potential but I'm struggling to get good feedback. Maybe my essays are decent? Maybe they're terrible? I just don't know.

I've been sitting on the 80s and I just want to do well on this comparative. I don't know anyone else that will mark essays for me either.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Get feedback - if you put it on the marking thread and drop the link here I can look at essays if you like.

-be concise
-look at concepts not just plot details
-have a strong and clear contention

I can also take a look at it if you link it in the marking and submission thread!!!! I am not the best but maybe some pointers will help. Also I can send through an essay which my teacher said was 85+ as long as I fixed certain things. I will tell you the things I needed to fix to take it to a hundred percent as well.

Today my teacher said a strong comparitive point is the difference between an eight percent and a one hundred percent. When opening paragraphs and expalining arguments similarity and difference must be clear. Also the link is basically a WHAT, HOW and WHY, although this depends on the structure your are using. I can email you a ppt on all of this as well if you would like
