The effectiveness of a solution is directly related to what the original goals were. The better it has achieved the goal = the higher the effectiveness is.

This is why it's hard to list specific criteria for those, since it's dependent on the goals. Talking generally, you could ask "Are the reports/graphs produced clear and understandable?", "Is the information on the website relevant and useful?".

Those questions stemmed from the definition of effectiveness (quality, relevance, usefulness etc).

evaluating effectiveness on user interfaces

CCELPESH

consistency
clarity
efficiency (is what is needed to be done being done on time, dont get confused as i did)maybe not use for example
logical organisation (everything is in order or use, main functions are noticable etc, file management)
pleasant appearance
easy to use
safety (Warning messages appear if user is about to do an action which cannot be undone)
