Chemistry Study Score

In subjects such as Further and Methods, I'm getting a feeling from reading threads that for every mark or two dropped, thats 1 SS less than 50 (till a certain point)


Is chemistry like that? Or is it 'nicer' such as biology where an A, A+, A gives 40 (based off friend)

I think it's nicer, perhaps not so tight.
