:) You have to acknowledge that ATP itself is also a fuel. Obviously it's being continually resynthesized but pre-existing intramuscular ATP stores are also used.

ok one last comment.. when they say atp-pc that doesnt mean atp and pc
anyway you win
but still
i dont like their wording

wasn't that question asking who to reduce O2 defict not debt?
also my teacher once told us that to reduce the effects of O2 debt an athlete should build up to their target speed rather than sprinting from the start of exercise but is this corect?

yeah but by reducing o2 deficit you are also reducing o2 debt. But you couldn't have had that as an answer because the question said apart from reducing intensity.

what could you have said for this question then?
also what did people generally write about for the surfing interplay question?

i wrote all the usually and then put down that if adequate recovery time was given she could replenish her PC stores thus allowing her ATP-PC system to regain dominance but if it wasnt her aerobic system would remain dominant but while she performs her tricks there would be an increase in contribution from her LA system.

Does that sound right?
Also what do people think the A+ cut off will be

how can you talk about EPOC is 10b?

excess POST-excercise oxygen consumption

oxygen deficit occurs at the onset of of exercise

Yeah and EPOC is very dependent on use of anaerobic metabolism... that's the reason why a sprinter will have a greater EPOC in the first minute than a marathon runner.

KRM - your SAC marks don't matter, it's all relative, it is what you are ranked against the rest of your school in SACS. Then your school will be compared to others based on their exam marks.. i know that much.

the questions asks how you can reduce oxygen deficit

what i'm saying is EPOC and oxygen deficit are completely different things
