Seriously, do they get that much???

Starting salary averages around $80-100K for graduates of the honours and it only goes up from there. Woweeee :D
When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be AWESOME instead. True story.

haha yeah I was thinking of Actuarials but the fact that you can't get PhD and apparently jobs are hard to find made me choose finance :P

Given your abilities, you can easily self learn spesh, that's what I did and finished in about 2 weeks.

Dudeeeee that's an insane effort.

Out of interest, how many chapters and hours did you average in a day?

I was at my peak when I did spesh, I did methods first, methods was quite relaxing, finished in about 1.5 weeks with around 9-10 hours a day.

But once I got into spesh, it was so much fun I just kept on going. I'd wake around 2 pm and do spesh until 2 - 3 am at night and then watch a bit of animes for 1 hour and sleep and repeat cycle the next day heh.

TrueTears, you've given new meaning to the word, 'motivation'. That's amazing!

I bet you're going to get 50 for both the Maths subjects you do =D How did you find Methods today?? I checked it out, people were complaining about the last question. Personally, I thought it looked better than last year's, *shudder at the memory of the weird looking antidote question*

LOL I never did 9-10 hours during the holidays. At max, I did about 3 exercises. I took my time =P But that's an exceptional feat. Well done!! =D Did you finish Chem too?

Lost 2 marks, stupid friggin interpretation let me down today. Oh wells finger crossed, hopefully I can still scrape somewhere close to 50 since last year you can lose 2 and get 50 meh.

I finished Physics but just read over Chem. I didn't find these 2 that enjoyable, loved maths more.

But seriously, it wasn't really motivation or like a set goal or anything, I just did it cause it was fun - like when I used to play DotA, if something is fun I tend to spam it.

Wow, you're absolutely amazing! =D

Ahh interpretation - where abouts did you lose - last question? Exam 1 - did you go well?

Last year, I had 40/40 and 77.5/80 to get 49. I'm sure you'd be looking at 49-50. Are you ranked highly for Methods?

How'd Spesh go? Further was okay, lost 1 mark for sure due to stupid VCAA's corrupt mind. =( Hoping it's the only mistake I made.

I think VCE-anything is just so mundane, even maths.

Yeah exam 1 was good - Pretty sure I didn't drop any marks there.

I lost it on the conditional probability question. Q 3 c i) and ii). Gah 2 marks gone for answer.

Ranked 1st atm at Scotch so SACs shouldn't be too much of a worry heh.

Spesh - dropped 2 if examiner is nice, 3 if tight examiner (not sure if I showed enough working for a question o.o)

You're gonna get 50 further, too pr0.

Gah I just want VCE to be over now, there's so much more fun maths I wanna learn.

If you learn all the math, can you invent your own?:)
Push further than whats available and fix the flaws of math ^^

Survived methods....shittest moment ever was during our Integration SAC, all the multiple choice were just normal differentiation><

Only chem to go woot

Wow you really love your Maths =D Here I am, vowing to keep away from text books for at least 2 months =D

Don't do that. These holidays are where you can actually learn anything you want without having to worry about assessments and revision and trial exams. Just learning about the world... :)

although personally I love sciences over maths (although maths is often the language of science, so they sort of go hand in hand) - I was recommended some physics books so I'll try and read a couple

lol I'm thinking like this except for Japanese and other languages I intend to learn not Science/Maths =P

Never doing Science again in my life. I'll try to avoid Maths during Commerce/IT.
