Just wondering if a loss of 2 marks in mid year corresponds to a low A+ due to the level of difficulty of the exam

It'd be more of a mid-A+.

ah okay thanks that makes me feel a bit better^^
So how do you get a 49 in a subject? does losing one mark mean u get 48 or something, it seems highly competitive in the higher end of things

Well, tomorrow's exam should be a lot harder than the midyear, and even if it's not, you'd probably get a 49 if you lost one mark and had good SAC scores.

since the A+ cutoff for the midyear was 2 marks, doesn't that mean that a high A+ is full marks, a mid A+ is -1 mark, and a low A+ is -2 marks.

i lost 2 marks also btw  :-\

edit: wow i just looked at the grade distribution, the cutoff was 4 marks, that's awesome.
