HELP! LEAD-ACID ACCUMULATOR!

Ok really quick question
our teacher always tells us to split up H2SO4 to 2H+ and SO42- and the same thing is done in many trial exams..
however in 2004 VCAA they have
PbO2 + H2SO4+ 2H+ +2e- -->PbSO4 + 2H2O
and
Pb + H2SO4+ -->PbSO4 + 2H2O + 2H+ +2e-

but i would have written it as
PbO2 + SO42-+ 4H+ +2e- -->PbSO4 + 2H2O
and
Pb + SO4 2- -->PbSO4 + 2H2O +2e-

which is the right way? Normally i would just go with VCAA's but I have written it the other way sooo many times that im just not sure

I've always written it in ur way, and got it correct. Technically, they mean the same. So, I reckon we're safe and sound. =)
