Name change + Logo!

On February 4th we will also be undergoing a namechange to www.vcenotes.com

For the occasion, AppleXY (Prav) has made a spiffing new logo for the site launch. I couldn't wait to show it off though so it's here now! But I am saving his (even better, imho) banner for the big event. So, yeah, kudos and many thanks to Prav!

I don't mean to offend but the logo is pretty revolting. Soz Prav, just looks like a moon and someone decided to chuck VCE NOTES on it for some strange reason.

Dan, I can ask my cousin who is a graphic designer to make one if you want (free of charge)
And I can show you some of his work thru PM if you like.

I hope the banner looks decent.

Costa, thanks but no thanks. I really like it. It fits in well with the layout and it has had a good reaction from everyone else, too. Sorry it isn't up to your standards.

me thinks it looks pretty cool, but it could do away with a bit more spark (the text i dnt think is subtle enough, maybe a gold emboss?)

just that its position atm looks pretty stupid on the forum at the minute..... (no offence )

maybe we can do a toned-down bar version?? (or that's the banner you are hiding from us???)

maybe mao means it looks a bit different how you have the bar extended vertically to accomodate the logo? now theres huge fat blue bar??? :idiot2: meh... im not sure u cud change anything...

you just need to create a better header/masthead, and change the colour scheme of the forum to suit the logo that's all. it's a nice logo.

mmm, I like the black background though because it draws attention to it. The header though, you're right, will need to be edited for the launch. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
