Does anyone know of any books that cover spectroscopic techniques in detail? Which would people recommend?

its already been said, but we just used heinemann, which i thought was fine. in chemistry i'd say most books are on a par, the only real way to get ahead is practice exams once you know the content

I have used Heinemann, Jacaranda and Nelson. Nelson was the school's set textbook. In my opinion, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, however all covered the basic theory well. I found that although the textbook was important in teaching me concepts, it was Checkpoints and practise exams that taught me the most, as they are more difficult and require a different way of thinking, in some cases. Out of the three, however, Jacaranda was probably the most detailed overall.
