Eligibility checklist

Did you apply for one or both of the following SEAS categories and submit the required documentation?

Do your individual circumstances satisfy the Access Melbourne criteria for one or both these categories?
(Each university may use slightly different eligibility criteria. You can check the criteria for Access Melbourne at the links below):

Category 5 (disadvantaged socio-economic background); and/or
Category 6 (applicants from rural or isolated areas)

Did you include or are you thinking of including one or more of the following University of Melbourne courses on your VTAC course preference list?

Bachelor of Arts
Bachelor of Environments
Bachelor of Science
Bachelor of Biomedicine
Bachelor of Commerce

Did you achieve an ENTER or notional ENTER of at least 78 (for Arts, Science or Environments) or 88 (for Commerce or Biomedicine)?

Have you met the course prerequisites and any other entry requirements? Refer to the VTAC Guide 2010 for course prequisite information.

If you answered "YES" to all of these questions, we have a guaranteed Commonwealth supported place for you at Melbourne! Re-order or add courses to your VTAC course preference list accordingly.

I think there was already a topic about this here.

EDIT:  Actually, just reading the times, I think this topic was made first:

02:07:26 compared to 11:28:46

Bachelor of Science (Mathematics & Statistics) - Discrete Mathematics & Operations Research

I think that this is really unfair but I won't go into it. The government is so stupid- rather than paying universities to take more poor students, why not fund the education system in a way so that poor people have the same opportunities as those from wealthier backgrounds? That way everybody is on an even playing field.
