and here I was thinking that the thread was deleted by an angry mod for going terribly off topic...

Imo only mods should be allowed to delete if any replies have been made. So you just report to mod (as others have been suggesting).

They shouldn't have deleted it!

I said something along the lines: everyone dismisses Commerce as a second rate career and how I find that annoying, I asked why Med is considered the most respectable/prestigious.

lol and then I said something along the lines: people don't really look down at commerce and engineering (I would hope not anyway, considering the importance of both roles in modern society, and where would we be without engineers especially?) but perhaps they look up at medicine considering the vital role of doctors in the community and the fact that their job exists to help people. But let's hope that they can revive the original thread so we don't have to go on repeating ouorselves.
