aww ok then.

Personally I find them valuable for when I'm going over an exam, just to see if I made any silly mistakes when using certain formulas.

definatly!

the triangle program saves me sooo much time especialy in multichoice, and ur guranteed not to make a mistake unless you put them in wrong.

cosine rule is done in like 10 sec where it would take that time to write out the numbers in the formula then solve

get onto it!

also finance program is great for solving r or t no need to use logs or anything like that its done for u, great way to check everything too (and make sure no stupid mistakes)

ATRIGA .. for trig, helps soo much, probably saves a couple of mins each question, just chuck in #'s and angles, and it does it all for you, what more can you as for ? =]

i don't know, i'd upload it for you, but i don't have the cable :( sorry.

but yeahh if you can get your hands on ATRIGA, if your doing geo&trig obviously, saves me from using the SIN, COS rule, by hand, ohh and also works out the area for you.

is it cheating?

dont mean that to be offensive but like it has never been mentioned at my school.

yeahh it is a bit late, and its not cheating.

contrary to oddete, programs are great to use, they save time, id rather do a question in a matter of seconds, compared to wasting a couple of minutes on it.

Also, in exam 2 they are still usefull to at least, back your answers up with.

If you do buss maths do you use equation solver, and TVM solver ?

not exactly, you can just write the answer with no working and still get full marks

but if your answer is wrong obviously u wont get any marks, but with workings you will

Does anybody use the casio classpad? Everybody seems to be using TI...
anyway, the classpad is touch screen and has an awesome geometry mode where you visually draw a diagram of the question. I did a question in 5 minutes where the teacher did it in 45... and i've written some programs for it, like gradient, linear equation etc.
