Question about Uni Prereq's

Hey, just a question. When a Uni prereq is eg. A study score of 35 for Chemistry to gain entry to Biomed at UoM, is this score scaled? If it was, you would only need around a 30?
Thanks
2010: Business Management [47]
2011: English [44]   |   Chemistry [45]  |   Methods [44]   |   Specialist [42]   |   MUEP Chemistry [5.0]   |   ATAR: 99.60
UMAT: 69 | 56 | 82 | = [69 / 98th Percentile]

Yes, like Cataclysmic said, universities look at the raw scores.  Scaled scores are purely for the calculation of the ENTER, not for pre-reqs.

If you don't get the required raw study scores (for the prerequisites) for a course you will not be accepted. ENTER means nothing if you don't meet the prerequisites.

Yep, that's right.
A forum member got 24 for methods (which he needed 25) and exceptional study scores for his relevant subjects and with a fantastic ENTER as well but didn't get into his course.

usually ESL is the one you need to score highest in compared to the others so .. with your example it would be 30 in ESL with 25 in all other english subs (english, lit)

That's what I thought as well for UoM.  You need at least 30 in English or ESL and 25 in either English Language or Literature.

In the VTAC Guide it says:

Quote
Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English and a study score of at least 35 in Chemistry...

And then on the website:

Quote
2010
Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 25 in any English/English Language/Literature or at least 30 in ESL and a study score of at least 35 in Chemistry and at least 25 in one of Mathematical Methods (either), Specialist Mathematics, Biology or Physics.

hey is there any courses that need a 40 SS for a prereq?
Also, does it matter how high your prereq is?
